Marketplace Model
Teleia connects verified vehicle and boat hosts with guests across Cyprus. Transactions occur directly between users.
Verified Host Standards
Mandatory identity documentation, valid Cyprus roadworthiness (MOT), and seaworthy vessel certifications.
Security Deposits
Rental damage pre-authorizations are securely held via Stripe and released within 3 to 5 business days post-return.
Cyprus Jurisdiction
All platform relations are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus with dispute forum in Nicosia.
Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Teleia Cyprus. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Teleia Cyprus Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of our platform, website, and related digital services (collectively, the "Service").
By browsing our listings, creating an account, publishing an advertisement, or confirming a rental or charter reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease accessing or using our Service.
Description of Service
Teleia Cyprus is a digital marketplace platform engineered to connect buyers, sellers, rental operators, and charter guests across Cyprus. Our digital infrastructure enables participants to:

User Accounts and Eligibility
To list vehicles, manage booking calendars, or send direct inquiries, you must create a verified account on Teleia Cyprus.
Account Obligations
- Provide truthful, current, and verifiable contact coordinates.
- Safeguard account passwords and API credentials against unauthorized access.
- Accept full accountability for all actions performed under your credentials.
- Notify our security desk immediately if you suspect compromised credentials.
Eligibility Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Rental drivers must present a valid European Union or international driving permit.
- Boat charterers must satisfy local Cyprus Department of Merchant Shipping rules.
- Corporate sellers must possess legal authority to represent their registered dealership.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to utilize our platform solely for lawful marketplace transactions. Any attempt to compromise user safety, defraud participants, or manipulate platform software is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Activities
- Publishing fraudulent listings, manipulated vehicle mileage, or stolen vehicle records.
- Harassing, abusing, threatening, or impersonating other buyers, sellers, or platform staff.
- Deploying automated scraping bots, web crawlers, or malicious payloads to harvest marketplace data.
- Circumventing platform payment protocols, escrow provisions, or security mechanisms.
- Transmitting unsolicited commercial promotions, junk emails, or spam through our messaging channels.
We reserve the right to review, unpublish, or permanently delete any listing or account that breaches our community guidelines or Cyprus consumer protection laws without prior refund.
Listings, Bookings, and Fees
Teleia functions as an intermediary communication and booking engine. Understanding the responsibilities associated with transactions ensures safe commerce across Cyprus:
Listing Accuracy and Host Representation
Sellers and rental operators are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of their listings, including technical specifications, registration papers, fuel policies, insurance coverage, and vehicle condition. Teleia does not inspect physical inventory on-site and makes no express warranties concerning host statements.
Independent Transaction Facilitation
All purchase and rental agreements are executed directly between buyers/guests and sellers/hosts. Teleia is not a formal party to vehicle purchase contracts or rental agreements, and bears no responsibility for dispute resolutions arising from handover delays or mechanical issues during third-party trips.
Platform Fees, Wallet Top-Ups, and Security Deposits
We may assess platform fees for premium promotional listings, highlighted search placement, and rental booking services. Rental deposits are held as card pre-authorizations via Stripe and released automatically within 3 to 5 business days following satisfactory post-trip vehicle inspection.
Intellectual Property Rights
The platform software, interface designs, trade dress, trademarks, logos, and original written materials are the exclusive property of Teleia Cyprus Ltd. and are protected by Cyprus intellectual property statutes and international copyright conventions.
You retain ownership of any photographs, specifications, and text descriptions uploaded to your listings. However, by uploading content, you grant Teleia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt, and distribute such assets strictly in connection with operating and promoting the marketplace.
Data Privacy Incorporation
Your privacy and the security of your identity documentation are fundamental to our operations. Our data collection and storage methodologies are fully detailed in our dedicated Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By utilizing our Service, you confirm your consent to our GDPR-compliant handling of your personal identifiers, driving credentials, and booking telemetry.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Please review this limitation clause carefully, as it establishes the boundary of our legal liability under Cyprus law:
Service Provided "As Is"
Our platform is delivered on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether statutory, express, or implied, including merchantability, vehicle mechanical soundness, title validity, or fitness for a particular journey.
Damages Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by Cyprus statutes, Teleia Cyprus Ltd. shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, mechanical breakdown expenses, or personal injury occurring during user rentals.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via your account settings dashboard or by contacting our concierge support desk.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or refund, for any conduct that breaches these Terms, infringes upon third-party rights, or harms other platform participants. Upon termination, provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and arbitration shall survive.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by binding arbitration in Nicosia, Cyprus, conducted in the English language. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief before the competent district courts of Cyprus.
Revisions to These Terms
We may periodically amend or update these Terms to reflect operational changes, statutory updates, or security requirements. All modifications become effective immediately upon publication on our platform.
If a revision is material, we will provide at least thirty (30) days notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting a notification banner or emailing registered account holders. Continued use of the Service following revisions constitutes affirmative acceptance of the new Terms.
